Wall-Mount Butterfly Latch for Chain-Link and Round-Frame Gates
This wall-mount butterfly latch secures a round gate frame against a wall, wood post or other suitable flat mounting surface. The two pivoting latch wings capture the gate frame when the gate closes and can be operated from either side for convenient entry and exit.
Fits two common gate-frame diameters
Designed for round gate frames with a 1-3/8 in or 1-5/8 in outside diameter. These measurements refer to the actual outside diameter of the gate-frame tube, not a nominal pipe size. Measure the tube before ordering.
Dual-sided operation
The symmetrical butterfly-style mechanism can be opened from either side of the gate. This makes it suitable for walk gates where access is required from both directions.
Padlockable design
An integrated padlock hole allows the closed latch to be secured when required. The padlock is not included.
Three outdoor finish options
- Hot-Dip Galvanized: steel finished with a hot-dip galvanized zinc layer for outdoor corrosion protection. Natural variations in the galvanized finish may occur.
- Black: zinc-plated steel finished with a black UV-resistant powder coating for additional outdoor protection and color durability.
